Corrective Spinal Exercises

​At All Family Chiropractic, P.C., we teach our patients specific exercises and stretches that can help your body stay in balance and in good health. Specific exercises help strengthen and correct their own unique problem, mostly working with your core muscles.

Electrical Stimulation & Ultrasound

​Ultrasound:  Ultrasound penetrates heat into human tissue deeper than any other heat modality, 4-6 cm.  The Benefits of heat from ultrasound include; promotion of muscle relaxation, increased local metabolism, and reduction of pain by sedating nerve endings. Ultrasound treatment is done by guiding waves into the body from the head of an ultrasound machine.

Electrical Stimulation:  Electrotherapy machines are a popular modality used in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Electrotherapy (also known as electrical muscle stimulation or E-Stim) uses an electrical machine that delivers electrical impulses to a patient’s body. This stimulation is done in order to promote and facilitate muscle healing and tissue regeneration. Not only is Electrotherapy a popular modality in physical therapy, but can also be used by other rehabilitation practitioners because it has several numerous therapeutic benefits.

Flexion-Distraction Therapy

Flexion Distraction is a chiropractic technique used to treat many conditions of the lumbar spine. It is a non-surgical technique aimed at increasing spinal motion and resolving disc bulges and disc herniations. The treatment is excellent as a safe, gentle, non-force procedure and works well to take pressure off the spinal nerves that may be injured or dysfunctional.

Digital X-Ray

X-rays and visible light consist of photon particles conveyed over electromagnetic energy. When carefully controlled, this energy can be used to reveal the internal structure of the body. We find these pictures quite helpful to provide a structural record of your spine. 
  • Rule out cancer, disease or other pathologies 
  • Locate fractures or other signs of trauma 
  • Identify evidence of long term spinal decay
  • Confirm other examination findings
